You know, you’d think I’d have more outdoor photos from last month. It is summer, after all. The problem is, it’s hot. It’s also ridiculously humid, so unless we get outside first thing in the morning I’m prone to hide out in the AC all day. At least Andrew stays quite entertained indoors, especially now that he has fun new birthday gifts to capture his imagination.
I am proud that we were able to make it out for a hike on a nearby trail. I’d been trying to coordinate a hike with friends for a few months but we kept getting rained out. It went so well that I’m looking forward to getting back on the trail again soon.
In August my goal is to get some photos of my husband and me together. We’re celebrating 15 years of marriage in just a few days! (Seriously! It’s hard for me to believe, too.) Before Andrew I was much better about using my timer or remote to take photos of Keith and me but now that most of our alone time is after dark I’ve been much less inspired to get the camera out. Our relationship is important, though, so I’m going to make a commitment to document it and celebrate it in photos.
